Investment Education Program Held During World Investor Week 2024 in Sindhupalchok

World Investor Week 2024 is being celebrated from October 22 to 28, in collaboration with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

As part of the initiative, Global IME Capital Ltd., in partnership with the Securities Board of Nepal and the Nepal Merchant Bankers Association, organized an investment education program on October 25 at Chautara Multiple Campus, Sindhupalchok.

Mr. Chhabilal Sharma Paudel, Company Secretary of Global IME Capital, presented various aspects of the securities market. Deputy Mayor Ms. Sita Thapa highlighted the importance of literacy programs for gaining foundational investment knowledge, while ward chairman Mr. Shiva Shrestha noted the potential for students to profit by participating in such programs.

The event, chaired by professor Mr. Hari Gopal Shrestha, encouraged students to invest in shares for earnings during their studies. Branch manager Mr. Navin Shrestha urged attendees to open Demat and My Share accounts to engage in the securities market. The program attracted significant participation from students, professors, and local professionals, aiming to provide valuable information for both new and experienced investors in the region.
