Jagdulla Hydropower Denounces Allegations of Misconduct in Project Tender Process

Jagdulla Hydropower Company Limited has expressed strong objection to allegations of character assassination against Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka and the company itself concerning the 106 MW Jagdulla semi-reservoir project’s bidding process.

In a statement, CEO Sanjay Sapkota clarified that the tender evaluation was conducted transparently as per Public Procurement Act and company regulations. He stated that the bids were rejected due to technical disqualifications and emphasized that the minister had no involvement in the process.

The company condemned certain media outlets for publishing baseless and misleading reports, asserting that such actions tarnish reputations and erode public trust. Jagdulla Hydropower urged journalists to uphold professional ethics and verify facts before publication, requesting a retraction of false reports.
