Janata Bank to facilitate Remittance service from the UK; people to receive remittance from 129 branches and more than 1700 remit partners of the bank in Nepal

Janata Bank Nepal has started remittance service from the UK following a remittance agreement with Barac Saajan Exchange Limited of the UK. Barak Exchange has its strong presence in many SAARC countries and is mulling to expand its services from other European countries like Poland, Spain, Italy, etc. following which the Nepalese will be able to send their remittance money from those countries as well.

People can receive the remit amount through the wide network of Janata Remit and more than 17000 strong Remit partners in Nepal including the bank’s 129 branches.

The bank currently has 129 branches, 79 ATM outlets, 2 limited banking units, 2 extension counters and 50 branchless banking units all over the nation.
