Jyoti Bikash Bank (JBBL) Calls AGM to Endorse 15.5% Dividend, When's the Book Closure?

Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited (JBBL) has called its 14th AGM on 23rd Poush, 2078. The meeting will be held in Lisara Receptions, Naxal, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 15.5% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The 406th meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 09 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 3,84,48,22,781. 11% bonus shares worth Rs. 42.29 crores and 4.5% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth slightly over Rs. 17.3 crores have been proposed.

Furthermore, this AGM will also endorse raising the authorized capital from Rs. 5 Arba to Rs. 8 Arba.

Poush 09 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.

As of writing, JBBL has an LTP of Rs. 445.
