Kalika Laghubitta Unveils Book Closure Date for its 20% Dividend; Calls AGM on Chaitra 29

Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KMCDB) has called its 13th AGM on 29th Chaitra, 2079. The meeting will be held in Hotel Task International Pvt. Ltd, Pokhara, starting at 9 AM that day.
Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The meeting of the board of directors decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 31.28 Crores. 19% bonus shares worth Rs.5.94 Crores and 1% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth Rs. 31.28 Lakhs have been proposed.
Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2078/79 and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80. The meeting will also elect a director from the promoter shareholding group. The proposal to change the promoter to public shareholding from 64.52: 35.48 to 54.52: 45.48 will be approved during the meeting.
The book closure date is from Chaitra 16 to Chaitra 29. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.
