Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Concludes Successful 17th Annual General Meeting

The 17th Annual General Meeting of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited was successfully conducted at Lisara Reception, Naxal, Kathmandu, on the 17th of Poush, 2080. Chaired by Mr. Sudeep Acharya, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the meeting included key highlights and decisions beneficial for the bank and its shareholders.

During the meeting, the shareholders unanimously approved the annual financial statement, balance sheet, profit and loss statement for the fiscal year 2079/80, along with related schedules, including the cashflow statement and profit and loss distribution calculation.

One of the significant outcomes of the meeting was the unanimous recommendation by the Bank's Audit Committee for the appointment of auditors for the fiscal year 2080/81. The resolution passed, appointing BRS Neupane & Company, Chartered Accountants as auditors.

Chairman Sudeep Acharya addressed shareholder queries, ensuring transparency and clarity, while Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Thakali provided insights into the achievements of the current financial year. Thakali confirmed that the bank is on track to meet the goals set according to the budget and program, assuring shareholders that their expectations will be met in the coming year.

Bhim Prasad Tulachan, a member of the bank's board of directors, also shared remarks during the meeting, expressing optimism about the bank's future. The event was warmly welcomed by Mr. Dandapani Bhattarai, the head of the legal department of the bank.
