Kathmandu Metropolitan City Urges Nightlife Venues to Settle Entertainment Tax Within 35 Days
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued a directive for dance bars, musical evening venues, and nightclubs to pay their entertainment tax within 35 days.
In a notice, KMC stated that despite repeated written, phone, and verbal reminders to pay the entertainment tax as stipulated by the Bagmati Province Finance Act, 2080 BS, these businesses have failed to comply.
KMC has warned that if the tax is not paid within the stipulated time, action will be taken as per Section 21 of the Finance Act, 2080 BS.
