Kathmandu Trash Collection Race 2025: A Partnership for Environmental Change

The Maina Devi Foundation (MDF) has teamed up with Kumari Job Pvt. Ltd. as the Title Sponsor for the Kathmandu Trash Collection Race (KTCR) 2025, scheduled for January 11. This 5-kilometer race, starting from Tinkune and ending at Maitighar, combines fitness and environmental activism, encouraging participants to collect trash along the route.

Kumari Job's MD, Sandesh Bhandari, highlighted their dedication to community upliftment and environmental preservation, while MDF Chairperson KP Khanal emphasized the race's role as a symbol of action for a cleaner, greener Nepal.

The event expects over 3,000 participants and 300+ volunteers, aiming to raise awareness about sustainability and climate action. Organized since 2014, KTCR integrates systematic waste management with support from Kathmandu Metropolitan City, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility.
