Koshi Pradesh Assembly Members Attend Financial Literacy Orientation Program
On Tuesday, Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited conducted a financial literacy orientation for the Koshi Pradesh Assembly members, in collaboration with the Koshi Provincial Assembly.
The program featured Adhikat Devendraraman Khanal, CEO of Rastriya Banijya Bank, and Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri, former Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission and Honorary Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, who provided insights on financial literacy.
Koshi State Assembly Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bista emphasized the need for stable interest rates, while Deputy Speaker Srijana Danuwar suggested incorporating financial literacy into school curricula. Discussions covered the importance of money, interest rates, and financial policies.
Key attendees included Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Sudarshan Khadka and other officials. The bank, with 294 branches, 310 ATMs, and 73 extension counters nationwide, highlighted its economic contributions and current status.
