Kulekhani-Sisneri Road Reopens After Three-Day Closure for Maintenance

Vehicular movement along the Kulekhani-Sisneri road section, which connects Kathmandu to Hetauda, has resumed today.

Two-way traffic is now operational following the completion of maintenance works at Simkhola in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2, Makawanpur district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyamu Aryal.

The road had been closed for three days to carry out necessary repairs and the installation of hume pipes at Simkhola. The closure was prompted by damage caused by flooding and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall in the last week of September.
