Kushal Sundar Shrestha Appointed President of Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs' Forum
Kushal Sundar Shrestha has been appointed President of the Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF), with Nivita Pradhan as First Vice President, Abhushan Jyoti Kansakar as Second Vice President, and Reecha Shrestha as Vice President for Women.
The new executive committee, selected based on performance indices, includes Sudip Ghimire, Krishna Sapkota, Pavitra Bahadur Gautam, Bilasha Shrestha, Yunesh Raj Shrestha, and Subin Shrestha. Sahara Joshi remains as an ex-officio member. At the 20th Annual General Meeting in Kathmandu, Shrestha introduced "Vision 2025," aimed at enhancing member value through excellence, growth, and innovation.
The plan includes expanding chapters from 13 to 17, increasing membership to 1,500, and implementing programs like a mentorship system, mini-Olympics, and international trips. Minister of Industries Damodar Bhandari emphasized government collaboration with the private sector to foster an investment-friendly environment.
The FNCCI’s amended statute will include NYEF representation in its executive committee. Several NYEF chapters were honored for their contributions, and the forum, with over 850 members, has created around 30,000 job opportunities across Nepal.
