Last Day to Bid for auction of two companies' promoter shares; Two other auctions postponed till further notice
Today is the last day to bid for the auction of promoter shares of four companies. The promoter shares of the four companies are all owned by NIC Asia Bank Limited.
The promoter shares of these companies are auctioned:
1) CIT, Promoter Shares, 2,02,560 units
2) NLICL, Promoter Shares, 1,25,726 units
Nic Asia Bank had also auctioned the promoter shares of Surya Life Insurance and Asian Life Insurance. However, both the auctions are postponed until further notice for some reason.
Only BFIs and insurance companies can bid for the auction of promoter shares of CIT. Any eligible investor can bid for the auction of shares of NLICL. For each company's auction, the minimum bid quantity is 100 units. Any bid quantity higher than that must be a multiple of 10.
Both the auction will close at the end of banking hours today.
