Laxmi Bank was traded the most this week; Kisan Microfinance was up by Rs 49; Weekly Wrap Up of the Market

NEPSE index movement:

The index opened at 1141.33 points and closed at 1144.53 points with the minimal gain of 3.2 points (0.28 %).

The candlestick chart of the weekly time-period is shown below;

This week's candle is the bullish candle with a very small body. Three candles out of the last four week’s candles are bullish.

This week’s candle shows the retaliation of the buyers in the market. As shown in the figure above the tail of the candle was on the downsides only which expresses the selling pressure in the market.

Despite this, the buyers neutralized the sellers as the market nears the closing day, as a result, the market closed at the positive note.

The candle-stick pattern of this week may seem like the hanging man but as the tail is not very long compared to the body we cannot consider this as a hanging man however the candle is indicating the positive market next week.

NEPSE Chart Analysis:

On the daily time period, the candles with small-bodied have formed. On the first trading day of the week, we saw the larger bodied bearish candle and after that all the candles were bullish.

Though the body of the bullish candles were relatively small, we can say that the market was stable on the buying side and the gradual increment in the price could be a small retracement after the downward movements. As we can observe these small bullish candles are followed by the large-bodied bearish candles.

The 5-days EMA (blue line) is above the 20-days EMA (red line) that is favoring a bullish trend.
