Laxmi Intercontinental Private Limited Begins Production and Sales of Hyundai Venue in Nepal

Laxmi Intercontinental Private Limited, the official dealer of Hyundai Motor Company in Nepal, has begun commercial production and distribution of the Hyundai Venue through its sister company, Laxmi Motor Corporation (LMC).

LMC, established with the investment of Laxmi Group and technical cooperation from Hyundai Motor Company, is producing the Hyundai Venue in Nepal. The company claims that the locally produced model matches the quality and features of those manufactured in Korea or India.

Their goals include domestic production, industrialization, import substitution, job creation, increasing domestic revenue, technological development, and offering vehicles at discounted prices.

Initially, LMC will produce two variants of the Hyundai Venue, with plans to expand to other models, including the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS and the new Hyundai Creta, within the financial year. The current prices for the Hyundai Venue are NPR 4,496,000 for the Venue FL 1.2 S and NPR 5,356,000 for the Venue FL 1.2 SX.
