Laxmi Sunrise Bank Concludes Ninth Annual Invitational Golf Tournament with Focus on Sustainability

Laxmi Sunrise Bank successfully concluded its ninth annual Laxmi Sunrise Invitational Golf Tournament on November 16, 2024, at Gokarna Resort. The event, themed "Swing for Sustainability," highlighted the bank's commitment to environmental responsibility with a zero-carbon approach.

To offset the estimated carbon footprint of 1 ton of CO2e, the bank pledged to plant 1,000 trees and gave each participant a plant sapling.

The one-day tournament featured 107 golfers, including eight women, competing in an 18-hole Stableford format.

The winners included Atmaram Simkhada (Champion), Ashish Lal Shrestha (Runner-Up), and Tara Karki Chitrakar (Ladies’ Winner). The awards ceremony emphasized the tournament's focus on sustainability, aligning with the bank's #OrangeLovesGreen campaign and reinforcing its leadership in green banking.
