Laxmi Sunrise Capital Ltd. Holds 14th Annual General Meeting, Announces Strong Performance and Future Plans

Laxmi Sunrise Capital Ltd., a subsidiary of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, held its 14th Annual General Meeting on 2081/07/16 at Laxmi Complex, Kathmandu.
Following the merger of Laxmi Capital Market and Sunrise Capital in 2080/081, the company now has a paid-up capital of Rs. 48.89 crore.
During the AGM, resolutions were passed regarding the annual report, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and the appointment of an auditor for 2081/082.
The company announced a distribution of 15.79% of its income, totaling Rs. 7.71 crores (excluding 15% tax), to shareholders. Laxmi Sunrise Capital, with over three decades of merchant banking experience, is actively involved in share issuance and managing a portfolio worth over 700 crores for approximately 250 clients.
It operates six closed-end mutual funds and one open-end fund worth about 7 Arba, with a successful return of 63.65% on its seven-year Laxmi Equity Fund. The company has also launched the Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund, raising Rs. 40 crore so far, with plans to collect the remaining amount.
