Laxmi Sunrise Celebrates World Environment Day 2024 with 'Project 5K'

Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited (LSL) celebrated World Environment Day 2024 by launching 'Project 5K', an initiative to plant 5,000 trees nationwide, aligning with the theme "Our Land, Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration."

From June 1 to June 8, the project planted around 6,000 trees with the help of bank branches, local communities, and organizations at various locations.

The initiative demonstrated the bank's commitment to environmental sustainability, embodied by its slogan "Orange Loves Green."

Laxmi Sunrise released its Avoided Emissions Report, showing a reduction of 25,134.18 tons of CO2 emissions through investments in renewable energy.

The bank's dedication to sustainable finance and environmental responsibility is further highlighted by its membership in the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF). Project 5K underscores Laxmi Sunrise's ongoing efforts to contribute to a greener future for Nepal.
