Losing 2.42 points today, NEPSE closes for the week at 1149.64 points; one company hits the positive circuit

The market closes for the week on a declining note after losing 0.21% or 2.42 points today. The benchmark index ends the week at 1149.64 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.41.90 Crore achieved through trade of 1,289,134 units of shares traded through 5,960 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) continues to dominate the trade in the market. The commercial bank stock posted a massive turnover of Rs.12.31 Crore achieved through trade of 307,226 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.402 per share.

Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) managed to hit the positive circuit today as well. The company whose trading was recently resumed gained 9.40% or 14 points and closed at Rs.163 per share. Dibyashwari Hydropower Limited (DHPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.77% or 4 points and closed at Rs.55 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.63 points and closed at 251.84 points while Float Index lost 0.18 points and closed at 85.63 points.
