Machhapuchchhre Bank Holds 26th Annual General Meeting, Announces New Board Members and Emphasizes Sustainable Banking

The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) was held on January 12, 2025, at Hotel Pokhara Grand, Pokhara.
The meeting approved the annual report for the financial year 2080/81 and elected Mr. Jay Mukunda Khanal, Ms. Manisha Bhandari, and Mr. Sunil Narayan Shrestha as board members. The reappointment of G.P. Rajbahak & Co. Chartered Accountants as auditors was also passed unanimously.
Chairman Roshan KC highlighted the bank's adoption of new technologies to improve customer service, strengthen the country's economy, and focus on agriculture, renewable energy, and small industries.
CEO Santosh Koirala emphasized the bank's commitment to sustainable banking and providing quality services. Founding shareholders, including Dr. Birendra Mahato and social worker Prem Kumari K.C., were also present at the meeting.
