Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Concludes Lock-in Period for Promoter Groups and Affected Stakeholders on Kartik 11

Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC) has announced that the lock-in period for its promoter shares, employee shares, and shares held by residents of the project-affected area will conclude on 11th Kartik, 2081.
Following recent guidelines from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), MBJC has notified its investors and stakeholders about the end of the lock-in period for 5,13,60,000 units of shares held by the Promoter Institutions, as well as those issued and allocated to Depositors of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Employees of Promoter Companies, EPF employees, Locals of the project-affected district (Sindhupalchok), and employees of the company. From 11th Kartik, 2081, these shares will be released from lock-in restrictions.
MBJC currently has 60,000,000 units of shares listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), with a total paid-up capital of Rs. 6 Arba.
However, shares held by the Board of Directors and higher management employees will remain non-tradable post-expiration of the lock-in period.
