Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Enhances Digital Banking Security with Visa Ready Facility

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has introduced the dollar and N. P. Visa Ready facility to enhance the security of online transactions for customers using R cards. This makes Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank the first among Nepal's development banks to offer such a feature.

The new system will authenticate transactions with a one-time password (OTP) sent via email or message, ensuring that card details are not misused.

This initiative aims to provide modern, safe, and convenient digital banking services while protecting customers' financial information from unauthorized access.

The implementation of 3D security features will reduce online fraud and enable real-time transaction verification, allowing customers to shop securely on thousands of e-commerce platforms globally. With 103 branches and around 8 million customers, the bank has been committed to delivering quality financial services for the past 30 years.
