Mahila Laghubitta Concludes 7th Annual General Meeting

Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBSL) successfully held its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Anmol Catering Services, Shankhamul, Kathmandu. Chaired by Tara Kunwar, the AGM discussed and approved the FY 2080/81 financial reports, including the balance sheet, profit & loss statement, and cash flow details. It also appointed an external auditor for FY 2081/82 as per regulatory guidelines.

The meeting approved an amendment to Article 32 (G) of the institution's bylaws and granted full authority to the board for merger, acquisition, and valuation of assets with other "D" class microfinance institutions. CEO Krishna Prasad Neupane assured shareholders of higher future returns, while MP Julie Kumari Mahato extended best wishes for the institution’s growth. Chief Guest Tulsi Thapa emphasized collaboration between women’s financial institutions for sustainable development. The meeting witnessed a strong shareholder presence.
