Mahuli Laghubitta Changes Dividend Rate to 15% for Fiscal Year 2078/79; Rate of Bonus and Cash Dividend to be Fixed After BOD Meeting

Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSLB) has amended the dividend percentage from the previous 25% to 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79.

The 133rd meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 25 had decided to distribute 20% bonus shares and 5% cash dividend (Including tax) from the paid-up capital of Rs. 28.21 Crores. The company had proposed a bonus dividend worth Rs. 5.64 Crores and a cash dividend worth Rs. 1.41 Crores, making a total of Rs. 7.05 Crores.

The dividend was subjected to be distributed only after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. As per the NRB’s recommendations, the company has amended the dividend to a maximum of 15% from the paid-up capital of Rs. 28.21 Crores.

The company has proposed a dividend worth Rs. 4.23 Crores (including cash and bonus for tax purposes). Now, the dividend will be distributed only after the Board of Directors meeting of Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited segregates the rate of dividend for bonus and cash dividend from the maximum of 15% proposed dividend.
