Mandakini Hydropower Announces 5% Dividend for FY 2079/80; When's the Book Closure?

Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) has proposed a 5% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. The company has also called its 10th AGM on Poush 29, 2080.

The meeting of the board of directors held on 29th Mangsir 2080, has proposed a 5% dividend from the profit maintained after FY 2079/80. The paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs. 58.8 Crores. 4.75% bonus shares and 0.25% cash dividend (including tax) have been proposed.

The book closure for the proposed dividend and AGM is on 20th Poush, 2080. Therefore, the shareholders maintained till the 19th Poush is entitled to a dividend payout and can attend the AGM.

As of writing, MHL has an LTP of Rs. 359.
