Marching to New Heights: Unprecedented Spike in Nepalese Gold Price
In a consecutive trend, the Nepalese gold market has experienced an exceptional surge, breaking the previous day's record and reaching an all-time high on March 10, 2024.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported an impressive single-day increase of Rs. 1,000, pushing the price of fine gold to an extraordinary Rs. 1,26,000 per tola.
On March 7, 2024, fine gold reached an unprecedented peak at Rs. 1,25,000 per tola, marking a historic milestone.
Tejabi gold, another highly sought-after variety, has also witnessed a notable increase, currently valued at Rs. 125,400 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,24,400.
Simultaneously, the price of silver has seen an upward trend, reaching 1,475 rupees per tola with a 5-rupee increase from Thursday's recorded silver price of Rs. 1,470 per tola.
While domestic prices are on the rise, the international market holds significant influence. According to the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,178.60 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also showing positive momentum, with prices reaching $24.26 per ounce.
