Margin Loan worth Rs.44.76 Arba floated till end of Bhadra 2076 by BFIs; look at other related financial statistics

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the financial statistics of Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) for FY 2076/77 till Bhadra end.

As you can see in the table below, the aggregate amount of margin type loan floated by all BFIs has amounted to Rs.44.76 Arba as opposed to Rs.44.59 Arba last month. Out of the total margin loan till Bhadra, Rs.34.93 Arba has been floated by commercial banks, Rs.7.67 Arba by development banks and Rs.2.16 Arba by finance companies.

Out of the 28 commercial banks, Nepal SBI Bank (SBI) and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) have not floated any margin type loan. Similarly, from the remaining 26 commercial banks, Nepal Bank (NBL) has floated the highest amount standing at Rs.4.82 Arba followed by Siddhartha Bank (SBL) and Kumari Bank (KBL) at Rs.2.77 Arba and Rs.2.74 Arba respectively.

The average margin type loan for the industry stands at Rs.1.34 Arba.
