Market bounces back, gaining 73.78 points today; twelve scrips hit the positive circuit while one scrip hits the negative circuit

The market bounced back today as it gained massive 5.47%. The benchmark index gained 73.78 points and closed at 1423.09 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.2.22 Arba achieved through trade of 5,626,812 units of shares traded through 23,237 transactions trading scrips of 180 listed companies in the process.
Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) posted the highest turnover at Rs.23.66 Crore with LTP of Rs.1210 per share. NMB Bank Limited (NMB) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 276,505 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.448 per share.
Twelve companies hit the positive circuit today. Salt Trading Corporation (STC), Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS), Everest Insurance Company Limited (EIC) and Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) gained 10% each. Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) hit the negative circuit as it lost 9.34% or 10 points, closing below the par value at Rs.97 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 14.33 points and closed at 304.69 points while Float Index gained 5.36 points and closed at 101.10 points.
Only Mutual Funds lost minimal points while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone today. Trading, Non-Life Insurance and Life Insurance were among top gainers.
