Market closes for Dashain slightly below 1150 points after gaining 8.69 points today; Unilever Nepal hits the positive circuit

On the final trading day of the week, the market gained 0.76% or 8.69 points and closed at 1149.40 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.17.66 Crore achieved through trade of 647,562 units of shares traded through 2,695 transactions trading scrips of 153 listed companies in the process.

Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) dominated today’s trade with turnover of Rs.3.13 Crore achieved through trade of 156,504 units of shares. The LTP of the hotel stands at Rs.213 per share.

Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) hit the positive circuit as it gained 10% or 1,853 points and closed at Rs.20,185 per share. United Finance Limited (UFL) was today’s top loser as it lost 9.31% or 19 points and closed at Rs.185 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 2.19 points and closed at 251.97 points while Float Index gained 0.51 points and closed at 85.01 points.

Finance sector lost 0.57% today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points. Manufacturing sector gained the most at 3.52%.
