Market falls below 1140 points after losing 6.88 points today; turnover amount falls to Rs.17.55 Crore

The market today lost 0.60% or 6.88 points and closed at 1139.29 points. The turnover amount fell to Rs.17.55 Crore achieved through trade of 784,740 units of shares traded through 4,080 transactions trading scrips of 161 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank (PRVU) posted the highest turnover at Rs.1.52 Crore with LTP of Rs.267 per share. Promoter Shares of Deva Bikas Bank (DBBLPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 139,600 units of shares. The LTP o the scrip stands at Rs.103 per share.

NIC Asia Growth Fund (NICGF) was today’s top gainer as it gained 4.52% and closed at Rs.8.78 per unit. Mega Bank (MEGA) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.44% or 11 points and closed at Rs.191 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.62 points and closed at 250.46 points while Float Index lost 0.46 points and closed at 84.45 points.

Only mutual funds gained 0.10% today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
