Market gains double digit points as dividends start to flow; four companies hit the positive circuit including two hydropowers

The market today gained double digits and closed at 1145.57 points. The benchmark index gained 1.22% or 13.77 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.54.99 Crore achieved through trade of 1,995,048 units of shares traded through 6,648 transactions trading scrips of 175 listed companies in the process.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.13.92 Crore achieved through trade of 367,157 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stood at Rs.383 per share.
Four companies hit the positive circuit today. They were Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL), Sabaiko Laghubitta (SABSL), Ridi Hydropower Development (RHPC) and Ankhu Khola Jalavidyut (AKJCL). NIBL Samriddhi Fund-1 (NIBSF1) was the top loser as it lost 5.77% or 1 points and closed at Rs.9.13 per unit.
Sensitive Index gained 3.28 points and closed at 252.29 points while Float Index gained 1.15 points and closed at 85.07 points.
Only Others lost 0.60 points today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points. Manufacturing sector gained the most at 2.32%.
