Market gains double digits after four consecutive days of loss; gains 10.42 points with nominal turnover

After four consecutive days of loss, the market gained double digit of 10.42 points or 0.93%. The benchmark index closed at 1135.56 points. The turnover however was worth Rs.16.88 Crore achieved through trade of 633,951 units of shares traded through 3,535 transactions trading scrips of 157 listed companies in the process.

Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.2.13 Crore achieved through trade of 93,265 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.231 per share.

Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.88% or 3 points and closed at Rs.54 per share. Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MNHL) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.70% or 3 points and closed at Rs.78 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.68 points and closed at 247.02 points while Float Index gained 0.82 points and closed at 84.09 points.

Only others sub-index lost 1.06% today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points today. Hotels gained the most at 2.68%.
