Market gains minimal points, closing for the week at 1135.95 points; two companies hit the positive circuit as STC maintains gaining streak

The benchmark index was in gaining zone for most part of the day. However, NEPSE closed with minimal gain of 0.79 points at 1135.95 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.22.83 Crore achieved through trade of 833,881 units of shares traded through 4,519 transactions trading scrips of 163 listed companies in the process.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.4.29 Crore achieved through trade of 113,239 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.380 per share.
Two companies it the positive circuit today. Salt Trading Corporation (STC) gained 9.91% and closed at Rs.943 per share followed by Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) with gain of 9.68% to close at Rs.102 per share. Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.66% to close at Rs.8 per unit.
Sensitive Index lost 0.11 points and closed at 250.06 points while Float Index gained 0.08 points and closed at 84.33 points.
Hotels, Development Banks, Others and Microfinance were among losing sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
