Market loses points falling to 1152.07 points today; three companies hit the positive circuit

The market today fell to 1150 points at its lowest point after declining from high of 1158 points. The benchmark index closed at 1152.07 points after losing 0.29% or 3.30 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.29.47 Crore achieved through trade of 947,853 units of shares traded through 5,144 transactions trading scrips of 165 companies in the process.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) continues to dominate the trade. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.4.90 Crore achieved through trade of 122,451 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.400 per share.
Three companies hit the positive circuit today, they were Bishal Bazar Company (BBC), Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) and Dibyashwari Hydropower Limited (DHPL). Nepal Seva Laghubitta (NSEWA) was today’s top loser as it lost 7.69% or 37 points and closed at Rs.444 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 0.80 points and closed at 252.47 points while Float Index lost 0.23 points and closed at 85.81 points.
Only Trading, Development Banks and Others were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
