Market lost 8.67 points today closing at 1,333.69 points; Green Development Bank as top gainer

The market today closed at 1,333.69 down by 8.67 points or 0.65%. The market had opened today at 1,341.23 and rose as high as 1,346.21 points till the middle of the day. The market fell at the later part of the day and closed at 1,333.69 points.
The total turnover stood at Rs 1.04 arba for today with 28.01 lakh unit shares traded via 13,137 transactions. The sensitive index also fell by 1.87 points closing at 284.05 points.
The top turnover today was of Gurans Life Insurance Company (GLICL). Similarly, Civil Bank (CBL) has the highest number of shares traded.
The top gainer for today is Green Development Bank (GRDBL) climbing 10% and closing at Rs 132. Similarly, the top loser was Nepal Finance (NFS). It lost 9.55% closing at Rs 142.
The subindices for all sectors except Manufacturing and processing and Life Insurance lost and closed in red.
