Market sheds 4.03 points on the first day of the week; turnover amount affected due to listing cancellation

The market today lost 0.35% or 4.03 points and closed at 1133.71 points. The turnover was low at Rs.11.33 Crore following the listing cancellation due to non-payment of annual listing fee by many companies. A total of 421,474 units of shares were traded through 3,005 transactions trading scrips of 128 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.1.09 Crore achieved through trade of 41,325 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.265 per share.

NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) was today’s top gainer as the scheme gained 3.84% and closed at Rs.7.03 per unit. Synergy Power Development Limited (SPDL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.33% or 4 points and closed at Rs.71 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.77 points and closed at 248.35 points while Float Index lost 0.32 points and closed at 83.97 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone today after losing points. Mutual Funds were the top losers after losing 3.25%.
