Market takes baby steps towards the positive direction; Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta loses the most after dividend declaration

The market today made minimal movement in both the directions during the regulation time. NEPSE closed with gain of 0.71 points at 1137.75 points. The turnover stood at Rs.18.29 Crore achieved through trade of 998,000 units of shares traded through 3,578 transactions trading scrips of 160 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank (PRVU) posted the highest turnover at Rs.1.99 Crore with LTP at Rs.265 per share. Promoter Shares of Mega Bank (MEGAPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 151,127 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.104 per share.

Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) was today’s top gainer as it gained 8% and closed at Rs.9.31 per unit. Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta (MSLB) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.25% or 58 points and closed at Rs.870 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.54 points and closed at 249.12 points while Float Index gained 0.04 points and closed at 84.29 points.

Hotels, Development Banks, Manufacturing and Others were among losing sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
