Market upholds gaining streak after gaining double digit points today; five companies hit the positive circuit

The market today was in the green zone for the whole day and reached a high of 1166 points. NEPSE Index gained 0.88% or 10.11 points and closed at 1161.47 points, gaining for the seventh consecutive day. The turnover stood at Rs.55.13 Crore achieved through trade of 2,043,605 units of shares traded through 7,172 transactions trading scrips of 173 listed companies in the process.
Promoter shares of Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBBPO) dominated the trade with turnover of Rs.6.41 Crore achieved through trade of 561,428 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.114 per share.
Five companies hit the positive circuit today out of which four were microfinance companies. They were Nepal Sewa Laghubitta (NSEWA), Deprosc Laghubitta (DDBL), United Insurance Company (UIC), Ganapati Microfinance (GMFBS) and Naya Nepal Laghubitta (NNLB). Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.95% or 752 points and closed at Rs.18261 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 1.69 points and closed at 255.19 points while Float Index gained 0.78 points and closed at 86.39 points.
Only Manufacturing sector lost 1.35% today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone gaining points.
