Market’s gain-less streak comes to an end after gaining 8.30 points today; two companies hit the positive circuit

The market today was gaining for some part of the day and closed at a high of 1117.46 points. The benchmark index gained 0.75% or 8.30 points. The turnover amount was at Rs.21.23 Crore achieved through trade of 738,446 units of shares traded through 3,598 transactions trading scrips of 165 listed companies in the process.

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.2.75 Crore achieved through trade of 72,063 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.383 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Ridi Hydropower (RHPC) gained 10% or 7 points and closed at Rs.77 per share while Gurkhas Finance (GUFL) gained 9.43% or 10 points and closed at Rs.116 per share. Salt Trading Corporation (SRC) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.92% or 99 points and closed at Rs.1331 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.74 points and closed at 247.23 points while Float Index gained 0.59 points and closed at 83.14 points.

Only Trading sector was in loss today after losing 5.27%. The rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
