Mechi Customs Office Collects Rs 3.59 Billion in First Quarter, Achieving 20.69% of Annual Target
The Mechi Customs Office has collected Rs 3.589 billion in revenue during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024/25, reaching 20.69 percent of its annual target of Rs 17.34 billion, according to customs officer Ganapati Kandel. This figure is Rs 190 million higher than the same period last year, which saw Rs 3.39 billion in collections.
Last fiscal year, the office met only 78.4 percent of its revenue target of Rs 18.25 billion, leading to a reduction of Rs 910 million in this year's target.
