Merchant Bankers Association of Nepal Meets New SEBON Chairman to Discuss Capital Market Reforms

On Mangsir 13, 2081, the executive committee of the Merchant Bankers Association of Nepal met with the newly appointed Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Mr. Santosh Narayan Shrestha, at the SEBON office in Lalitpur Khumaltar.

The meeting included key figures from the association, such as President Mr. Ramendra Rayamajhi, outgoing President Mr. Bijay Lal Shrestha, Vice President Mr. Manish Narayan Joshi, and others.

Mr. Rayamajhi and his team emphasized the need for modern technology to improve regulation and supervision, aiming to enhance the capital market's transparency, reliability, and investor protection.

Mr. Shrestha, in turn, expressed his commitment to ensuring a clean, transparent, and technology-driven capital market with more effective regulation and supervision.
