Merger Agreement Between Naya Sarathi (NSLB) and Vijaya Laghubitta (VLBS) Concluded; Share Trading of Basic Shareholders Halted from Today

Nepal Stock Exchange has issued a circulation regarding the withholding of share transaction of Naya Sarathi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NSLB) and Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) due to the merger agreement by both microfinance companies.

Regarding the aforementioned, on Mangsir26, 2079, at 6:15 p.m., the preliminary agreement regarding the merging of NSLB and VLBS was concluded. Likewise, NEPSE has informed investors that the share transaction of the basic shareholders of  the companies has been stopped accordingly.

As of writing, the last trading price (LTP) of NSLB and VLBS as of 12 December 2022 is Rs. 747.50 and Rs. 821, respectively.
