MetLife Nepal Partners with Ear Care Nepal to Launch School Ear Health Program for 2,400 Students

MetLife Nepal, in partnership with Ear Care Nepal (ECN), is launching a 10-week School Ear Health Program targeting 2,400 school children from preschool to grade 10 in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. The initiative aims to raise awareness about ear health, focusing on early detection and prevention.

ECN's consultant ENT surgeons will screen and treat ear diseases and hearing loss in 8 to 10 schools, using portable audiogram machines for hearing tests. The program will also educate students, teachers, and guardians on ear health. MetLife Nepal has provided NPR 513,000 to support the initiative.
