MG S5 EV Debuts in Nepal, Redefining the Electric Vehicle Market

Paramount Motors, the official dealer of MG Motors Nepal, has launched the MG S5 EV, setting a new standard in Nepal’s electric vehicle (EV) market. Unveiled at Hyatt Regency Hotel, the launch event saw participation from media, influencers, corporate houses, and bank CEOs, all expressing satisfaction with the pricing, specifications, and aesthetics of the new model.

Available in Comfort and Deluxe variants, the MG S5 EV features a 49kWh battery with a 99kW motor, while the Deluxe+ variant boasts a 62kWh battery for an extended range. Prices start at NPR 43.99 lakh, reaching NPR 54.99 lakh for the highest variant. Built on a dedicated pure EV platform, the vehicle introduces the world’s thinnest battery, rear-wheel drive, and five-link independent suspension, ensuring stability, efficiency, and superior driving dynamics.

The MG S5 EV also offers cutting-edge features, including a 12.8-inch central control system, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, 453L boot space, wireless charging, and inbuilt apps like YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok. With a maximum speed of 175 km/h, it combines innovation, safety, and driving pleasure.
