Mirmire Laghubitta (MMFDB) to Acquire Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta

Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB) has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.

Chairman Tek Bahadur Bohara on behalf of Mirmire Laghubitta and Chairman Govinda Pandey on behalf of Buddhajyoti Laghubitta signed the MoU.

After the acquisition, the name of the institution will be Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, and the chairman of the board of directors will be Tek Bahadur Bohara while the chief executive officer (CEO) will be Pushkar Raj Joshi.

As of writing, MMFDB has an LTP of Rs. 1,229.90. The company posted a net profit of Rs 121.63 million in the 2nd quarter of the fiscal year 2078/79. Mirmire Laghubitta is operational in all 7 provinces of Nepal. The microfinance company has also acquired Sweda Laghubitta and Nagbeli Laghubitta in the past.
