MoHA Replaces CDOs of Dhading and Kavre Amid Flood and Landslide Crisis
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has replaced the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Dhading and Kavre in response to the recent floods and landslides. MoHA Spokesperson Rishiram Tiwari announced that Suman Ghimire has been appointed as the new CDO of Dhading, while Umesh Dakal will take over as CDO of Kavre.
The previous CDOs, Rajendra Dev Pandey (Dhading) and Surya Prasad Sedhai (Kavre), have both been reassigned to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The changes come as the government intensifies efforts to manage disaster relief and recovery operations in the affected regions.
