More than 80% of ‘10% Nepal SBI Bank Debentures 2086’ subscribed till closing; 1,285 applications received

Nepal SBI Bank (SBI) had closed the issue of "10% Nepal SBI Bank Rinpatra 2086" on Falgun 28, 2076. This debenture issue was opened since Magh 28, 2076.

The bank was issuing debentures worth Rs.2.5 Arba at Rs.1000 per unit. The debenture will be providing 10% interest rate per annum for a period of 10 years till maturity.

Kumari Capital Limited is the issue manager for this debenture issue.

As per the issue manager, from the general public, the issue received 1,238 applicants applying for 210,038 units of debentures while for private placement, 47 applicants applied for 1,823,850 units of debentures till the closing date.

In total, the issue received applications from 1,285 applicants for 2,033,888 units of debentures. Roughly, 80% of the issue has been subscribed.

The bank was issuing a total of 25 lakh units, out of which 10 lakh units were offered to the general public and 15 lakh units were offered for private placement. Similarly, from the 10 lakh units being offered to the general public, 50,000 units (5%) was segregated for Mutual Funds.
