Most Commercial Banks Retain Interest Rates for Falgun; Global IME Bank Raises FD Rates

Commercial banks in Nepal have announced their interest rates for the month of Falgun, to be effective from Falgun 1, with most banks maintaining the same rates as in the previous month.
Global IME Bank has increased its maximum interest rates by 0.25 percentage points on both individual and institutional fixed deposit (FD) rates. Meanwhile, Citizens Bank International has reduced its institutional FD rates by 0.40%, and Laxmi Sunrise Bank has lowered its individual FD rates by 0.25%. All other commercial banks have kept their FD rates unchanged.
