Mountain Energy Nepal Ltd. Announces Investment in Dudh Khola Hydropower Project

Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has made a significant move in its growth and expansion strategy by announcing an investment in the Dudh Khola Hydropower Project (65 MW). The decision was made during the 116th meeting of the company's Board of Directors, held on 6th Mangsir, 2081, at 3:00 PM.

In compliance with the Securities Listing Regulations, 2075, the company has officially informed the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) about this decision. The Board of Directors reviewed and discussed the economic and technical aspects of the project, ultimately deciding to proceed with the investment.

Mountain Energy Nepal Ltd. has authorized Mr. Arun Kumar K.C., a director of the company, to sign the memorandum of understanding for the investment in the Dudh Khola Hydropower Project. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to diversifying its energy portfolio and contributing to Nepal's renewable energy sector.
