Mountain Hydro Nepal Net Profit Declines by 16.23% in Q2 ; Sales Revenue at Rs. 36.58 Crores

Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) has reported a decline in net profit by 16.23% in the Q2 of FY -79/80. The net profit decreased from Rs. 14.38 crores to Rs. 12.04 crores in this quarter as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
MHNL's income from the sale of electricity also decreased by 2.27%% coming down to Rs. 36.58 crores in this quarter. The administrative expenses on the other hand have increased by 13.87% to stand at Rs. 85.42 Lakhs.
The paid-up capital of MHNL stands at Rs 1.25 arba with a reserve and surplus of Rs 12.26 crore. It has Rs 5 crore as an investment in subsidiaries.
As of Q2 of FY 2079/80, the company's EPS is Rs. 19.28, net worth per share stands at Rs 109.81 and the P/E stands at 16.55 times.
