Mr. Bijaya Man Nakarmi Appointed Chairman of Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited

Mr. Bijaya Man Nakarmi has been appointed as the Chairman of Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (HLBSL), a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited. The decision was made at the 235th board meeting on 26 Kartik 2081, where Mr. Nakarmi, representing Himalayan Bank Limited, was unanimously elected.

With nearly 32 years of experience in the banking sector, including his previous role as chairman of a financial institution, Mr. Nakarmi brings significant expertise. Additionally, Mr. Subasan Harsha Bajracharya and Mr. Saroj Shrestha were appointed as directors.

A farewell was held for outgoing directors Mr. Sachin Newa and Mr. Aanchal Dhakal. HLBSL, serving over 76,000 members, has 75 branches, Rs. 96 crores in savings, and investments totaling approximately Rs. 4.34 billion.
